“Human Resources” at the Saudi Media Forum.. 1200 minutes of volunteering and 370 trainees

Riyadh (UNA/SPA) - The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development concluded today its participation in the Saudi Media Forum 2025, which lasted for three days and witnessed a remarkable presence of media experts and content creators.

During its participation, the Ministry reviewed its most prominent media achievements and communication strategy, in addition to presenting many qualitative initiatives and programs that aim to enrich the media scene, keep pace with rapid digital transformations, enhance community awareness, and support the sustainability of these initiatives.

The “Volunteer Your Expertise” initiative launched by the Ministry received wide interaction from forum visitors, recording more than 1200 minutes of professional volunteering in the media field, with the participation of more than 20 leaders, consultants and media experts, who presented individual advisory sessions, during which they transferred their professional expertise to the new media generation.

In the context of enhancing professional qualification for the media sector, the Ministry provided thousands of visitors with the opportunity to view accurate data on priority skills in the media field, through a pavilion dedicated to the “Skills Surveys” initiative, stressing the importance of the initiative in developing the work environment and directing training and educational programs according to the actual needs of the media sector, which contributes to qualifying national competencies and securing job opportunities that are more compatible with market requirements.

The National Training Campaign “Waad” achieved remarkable success during the forum, attracting more than 370 trainees in the media field, through its virtual training program “Basics of Media Appearance”, in which participants obtained accredited certificates after passing its requirements.

Waad also organized two in-person workshops, the first of which focused on modern media skills, while the second addressed strategies for building a personal brand. In addition, visitors had the opportunity to register for five specialized media training courses, in cooperation with a number of partner entities in the media training sector.

As part of its media strategy at the forum, the ministry presented prominent media performance statistics, and the number of views on its various platforms exceeded 80 million views, while the number of followers of its official accounts reached more than 6 million people, which reflects its success in achieving community interaction, establishing transparency and effective communication with the public.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that its participation in the Saudi Media Forum 2025 comes within the framework of its ongoing commitment to supporting the development of national competencies in the media fields, and aligning skills with the needs of the labor market, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and enhances the professionalism and influence of Saudi media locally and regionally.
