The permanent Saudi representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meets his Cameroonian counterpart

Jeddah (UNA) - The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, met in his office at the headquarters of the delegation at the branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region in Jeddah Governorate with his counterpart, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cameroon to the Organization and its Ambassador to Riyadh, Ambassador Iya Tijani.
The two sides discussed issues of common concern and recent developments within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and reviewed the efforts undertaken by the organization at all levels.
The two sides also reviewed areas of joint Islamic action and means of coordination in order to serve the goals of the organization and its specialized, subsidiary or affiliated bodies, and emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding developments and developments in all Islamic issues within the framework of the organization's interest.
It is worth noting that the preparatory meetings for the forty-ninth session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States are currently being held in the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which is scheduled to be held in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, on March 16 and 17, 2023.
