
Rabat (UNA) – The Islamic Centre for Development of Trade will present its 2025 report on halal trade and investment tomorrow, Monday, April 13, 2026, in Rabat, as part of efforts to promote the dynamism of trade exchanges between member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and to support the integration of this sector into the global economy.
This event is being held with the participation of representatives from the institutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, along with relevant national bodies and private sector actors, with the aim of highlighting the strategic role of the halal economy as a lever for diversifying economies and enhancing their competitiveness.
The release of this report comes in the context of an ongoing series of initiatives aimed at highlighting the economic opportunities provided by the halal economy, especially in light of the growing global demand for its products and services, and the potential it offers for developing value chains and diversifying sources of income.
The meeting program includes a detailed presentation of the report's contents, along with testimonies from a number of stakeholders in the sector, as well as organizing bilateral meetings between participants to discuss opportunities for cooperation and developing partnerships.
It is worth noting that this report is issued periodically every two years since 2022, and it is considered an analytical reference for monitoring trends in the halal sector.
