Jordan thwarts the smuggling of 1.3 tons of drugs

Amman (INA) – The Jordanian Border Guard forces managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle a car loaded with more than 1.3 tons of various drugs, coming from the Syrian territories, according to an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces. The source said, in a press statement, published by the Jordanian newspapers today, Monday: 3991 palms of hashish were seized, weighing 722 kilograms, and three million and 592 thousand Captagon pills weighing 6675 kilograms were seized. The total weight of the seized drugs amounted to one ton and 389 and a half kilograms, while the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities. (End) M p / pg /
