Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – Minister of Finance and Planning, Stephan Salameh, and Italian Consul General, Domenico Bellato, signed on Sunday a grant to support the general budget worth 10 million euros, within the framework of the ongoing bilateral partnership and cooperation.
The ministry explained that this grant will be disbursed through the European PEGASE mechanism to support the Palestinian Authority and its reform process, contributing directly to supporting medical personnel and alleviating operational burdens on the health system, thus ensuring the provision of integrated healthcare and a more effective response to medical challenges..
She noted that this support reflects the Italian government's commitment to supporting the Palestinian government's efforts to strengthen the resilience of the health sector and ensure the continued provision of effective and comprehensive health services to citizens..
