Gaza (YUTA/WAFA) – The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced on Sunday the evacuation of 152 sick and wounded travelers through the Rafah land crossing, in coordination with the World Health Organization and in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
The association explained that its ambulances transported the travelers and ensured their safe arrival, as part of ongoing efforts to facilitate the travel of patients, the wounded and their companions, and to enable them to receive treatment outside the Gaza Strip.
The teams also worked to receive and gather the travelers at the association’s medical rehabilitation hospital in Khan Yunis, in preparation for completing the necessary procedures and transferring them to the crossing according to the approved arrangements.
