Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) - Prisoners' institutions, national and Islamic forces, and Palestinian national and popular activities called for active participation tomorrow, Sunday, August 3, on the occasion of the National and International Day, in support of Gaza and the prisoners, and in rejection of genocide, the crime of starvation, colonialism, and forced displacement policies, and to confront the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, wherever they are.
Palestinian institutions and forces confirmed in a statement that tomorrow will witness the launch of protests in all West Bank governorates, coinciding with a partial general strike from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., pursuant to a decision issued by the national and Islamic forces.
In this context, the institutions and forces emphasized that August 3rd represents a new milestone in reclaiming the humanitarian, popular, and moral role in confronting the ongoing war of extermination. They emphasized that raising the Palestinian voice loudly, alongside the voices of free people around the world, is a duty to restore human values, which are currently being severely tested by the continuation of these crimes. They also emphasized that it is an attempt to revive the national and global conscience.
She stressed that the continuation of the war of extermination and the escalation of systematic and unprecedented crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against our people, in full view of the world, places upon us a national and moral responsibility that requires our participation to be commensurate with the sacrifices of the people, the blood of tens of thousands of martyrs, and the steadfastness of thousands of our male and female prisoners in the occupation's prisons.
I once again appeal to the sons of the Palestinian people, and to all free people in the world, to take to the streets under the slogan: “Victory for Gaza, for its heroes, and for our male and female prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.” “Let us go out with faith, strength, and determination, and on this day, let us cast aside the words of impotence and silence,” until a complete halt to the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people is achieved, the freedom of our male and female prisoners is won, and freedom is achieved for Palestine.
