Provocative marches by settlers in Hebron

HEBRON (UNIA/WAFA) – Settlers organized provocative marches in the Old City of Hebron on Tuesday.
Activist Aref Jaber said that dozens of settlers organized a provocative march that started from the Kiryat Arba settlement, located east of Hebron, and proceeded to the Ibrahimi Mosque. The march toured the streets of the Old City and the neighborhoods of Wadi al-Nasara, Wadi al-Hussein, and Jaber neighborhood, during which they raised racist slogans and Israeli flags.
Jaber pointed out that the occupation forces, which accompanied the settlers to protect them, closed off the Old City and its neighborhoods, preventing citizens from reaching the checkpoints and gates separating the neighborhoods.
In turn, anti-settlement activist Badie Dweik said that the settlers are carrying out a campaign of racist and provocative practices in these areas controlled by the occupation, exploiting these occasions to carry out further racist attacks under the protection of the occupation forces.
