The Minister of Health said that the brutal aggression of the Israeli occupation has been ongoing for more than 7 decades against Palestine, but in the last year, there was a fierce attack that targeted trees, stones and people and left nothing green or dry. This aggression was primarily targeting the Palestinian people, and erasing every possibility of life in the Gaza Strip and also in the West Bank, pointing out that the aggression destroyed the infrastructure and health systems that we were proud of in Palestine..
Abu Ramadan added that Palestine was proud to have one of the best health vaccination systems with an effectiveness rate of more than 99%, and that it was free of polio, stressing that the aggression of the Israeli occupation has set us back more than 40 years, as a result of the destruction of the infrastructure, and the sewage covering the streets with millions of tons, and all of this has led to the interruption of health vaccination for children..
The Minister of Health stated that the systematic destruction targeted health facilities and health workers, as many of them in Al-Shifa and Nasser hospitals and in the north were arrested, tortured and captured, and many of them were martyred while providing humanitarian duty to patients, and the occupation's aggression affected various sectors in the Gaza Strip, and this aggression will require a great deal and several years to remove its effects..
