Islamabad (UNA) – Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Munir Akram has said that Israel has no right to the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem. Ambassador Munir Akram’s remarks came during his participation in the meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement in New York on Tuesday. The Ambassador called on the movement to play its role in demanding an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression against civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories. He pointed out that the movement must work to restore international legitimacy and seek a two-state solution to promote peace and stability in the region. (End)
