Jeddah (UNA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation today, December 13, 2024, in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, and the indiscriminate destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, considering it an extension of the organized state terrorism and the crime of genocide that has been ongoing for more than fourteen months against the Palestinian people.
The organization also welcomed the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution calling for an immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into all parts of the Gaza Strip, as well as a resolution on supporting the mandate of UNRWA and its vital role in providing basic services to Palestinian refugees.
In this regard, the organization renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel, the occupying power, to abide by international law and implement relevant United Nations resolutions.
