Islamabad (UNA) – The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, received the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, at a working dinner at the Government House in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
During the meeting, His Excellency noted the significant diplomatic role played by the Pakistani government, under his country’s leadership, in defusing the threat of war between the United States and Iran, and returning to peaceful options for resolving disputes.
His Excellency also appreciated the feelings of President Sharif towards the Muslim World League, his warm reception of its delegation, his generous hospitality, and his congratulations on the President’s approval of the National University’s decision to grant His Excellency an honorary doctorate in the philosophy of international relations.
