New York (UNA) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen met on Friday with Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the OIC and Kuwait as one of the leading countries in leading joint Islamic action. The Minister appreciated the good efforts of the Secretary General during his term, which witnessed great cooperation between the member states of the organization, especially in light of the major challenges facing the Islamic world.
