Baku (UNA/AZERTAC) – Pakistani Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, told reporters that the first “Asan Khidmat” center in Islamabad was opened at the beginning of this year.
She added: “I express my gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as to the head of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan and his team, for this fruitful cooperation.
The Azertag news agency reported that delegations from both countries have made several reciprocal visits with the aim of exchanging experiences and learning about Baku's experience.
This collaboration encompassed all stages, from planning and designing the service center, through implementing the software and training its staff, to project implementation.
The minister noted that this process was achieved thanks to the support of the Azerbaijani delegation, adding: “We are currently working on restructuring and developing the processes for providing these services.”
In the future, we plan to expand the scope of work of the “Asan Khidmat” centers to include Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and the rest of Pakistan’s regions.
We continue our close cooperation with the “Asan Khidmat” team in this field.”
