
New York (UNA/WAS) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the attack that targeted a mosque in San Diego, California, USA, which resulted in the death of three people.
“The Secretary-General affirms that attacks on places of worship are extremely heinous acts, stressing the urgent need to confront hatred and intolerance in all their forms,” said UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric at the daily press briefing.
Guterres expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, affirming his solidarity with the Muslim community and calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
