Makkah Al-Mukarramah (UNA) – The Muslim World League welcomed with great appreciation the announcement by His Excellency US President Donald Trump that his country would begin urgent work to end the devastating war and establish peace in the Republic of Sudan, in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in response to the request of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God reward him abundantly.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the League, His Excellency the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed the League’s appreciation, on behalf of the Muslim peoples under its umbrella, for the fraternal and humanitarian initiative of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, “May God bless his efforts and reward him for what he has offered and continues to offer in terms of initiatives and ongoing work that serve justice, stability and peace,” stressing the great hope that this pivotal move will result in stopping this devastating war that has brought indescribable atrocities to the Sudanese people.
