Ankara (UNA/QNA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed today with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is currently visiting the capital, Ankara, the strengthening of bilateral relations and a number of international issues.
The Turkish presidency stated in a statement that the two sides also exchanged views on issues that may be included on the agenda of the summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
It is noteworthy that the summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States will be held next November in Kazakhstan.
The Organization of Turkic States (formerly the Turkic Council) was established on October 3, 2009, and includes Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
