
Jerusalem (UNA/WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their siege and closure of the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, for the second day in a row this morning..
Wafa’s correspondent said that the occupation forces stationed at the entrances to the town are continuing a wide-scale raid campaign that has targeted dozens of homes, accompanied by deliberate acts of vandalism against property, searches of phones, and the theft of money from citizens’ homes.
The occupation forces also fired stun grenades intensively at anyone who tried to leave the town of Hazma, while simultaneously closing all entrances to the town and imposing a tight siege on it..
He noted that schools in Hazma announced their closure today, in order to protect the safety of students..
Yesterday morning, the occupation forces distributed leaflets in the town's streets, informing citizens that the town was a closed military zone and that leaving it was prohibited until further notice.
