A month of Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin

As the Israeli aggression on Jenin camp continues, the extent of the massive destruction of homes, properties and shops of citizens in the neighborhoods and streets of the city and the camp is revealed day after day, while the occupation continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers and fuel tankers to the entrances and surroundings of the camp.

Yesterday, the occupation army brought in large water tanks, in addition to small rooms for the occupation soldiers. The occupation bulldozers continue the destruction and demolition work and the opening of streets in several neighborhoods of the Jenin camp. Drones also continue to fly at low altitudes in the sky of the city and the camp.

Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested two children in the vicinity of Yahya Ayyash roundabout, while two young men were arrested earlier from the city of Jenin..

In turn, Jenin Mayor Muhammad Jarrar said in a statement yesterday that the occupation adopted a pattern of random destruction in Jenin camp and its surroundings and did not leave any foundations of the infrastructure, and burned and demolished homes in order to make the camp uninhabitable.

He added that after nearly a month of ongoing aggression, Jenin camp has become mostly empty of residents, as the occupation is trying to create a new environment for the residents of Jenin camp to live far away from it and thus not return to their homes.

According to the Jenin Camp Media Committee, the occupation left nearly 3 families in Jenin Camp without shelter, after destroying their homes and property, in addition to the occupation soldiers burning a number of homes.

The Israeli occupation forces closed the entire entrances to Jenin camp with earthen barriers, while the occupation soldiers stationed at the entrance to the camp fired live bullets at the citizens, and also fired flare bombs in the Jabal Abu Dhahir area and the new camp.

In the city's Al-Jabariyat neighborhood, which is close to the camp, drones equipped with loudspeakers flew, demanding that residents evacuate their homes, threatening to shoot them if they did not evacuate.

In the same context, the occupation forces raided the homes of three families in the village of Taybeh, west of Jenin, forced them to evacuate and turned them into military barracks.

A 16-year-old child was injured by a gas bomb in the hand after the occupation forces stormed the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin, and arrested the young man Mahmoud Al-Danouf. Another young man was also injured during the storming after the occupation soldiers assaulted him.
