Jeddah (UNA) – The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the General Secretariat headquarters, Mr. Miah Mohammad Mainul Kabir, Consul General of Bangladesh in Jeddah and Alternate Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the OIC.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed appreciation for the existing cooperative relations between the OIC and Bangladesh and discussed prospects for enhancing dialogue and cooperation between them in various fields. They also exchanged views on issues of common interest, especially the situation of Rohingya Muslims.
