Jeddah (UNA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) congratulated the people of the Republic of Djibouti on the smooth conduct of the legislative elections that were successfully held on 2018 February XNUMX. The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, expressed his satisfaction with the electoral process that was conducted in a transparent and professional manner and in an atmosphere of national harmony. Al-Othaimeen praised the people of Djibouti who voted in large numbers, showing a high sense of responsibility, and affirming their desire to contribute to strengthening democracy in their country.
