Kazan (UNA) – The 5th Kazan World Youth Summit, hosted by the Russian Republic of Tatarstan from August 26 to 30, invited a wide audience to participate in a series of open sessions including students, young leaders, and all those interested in global education trends.
The summit is expected to bring together around 250 participants from more than 40 countries, including representatives of ministries, international organizations and universities, along with young leaders and experts.
The program also brings together a select group of international experts and representatives of governmental institutions and educational organizations, within a comprehensive dialogue framework, under the slogan: “Education in an era of global change: Human capital for sustainable development.”
The first open sessions will begin on August 28, focusing on communication as one of the essential competencies for the future. They will discuss ways to effectively convey ideas in light of rapid global transformations, the importance of communication skills in the age of digitalization and artificial intelligence, and their role in promoting international cooperation and dialogue.
The session will be followed by an international panel discussion entitled “Education in an Era of Global Change: Human Capital for Sustainable Development,” with the participation of speakers from various countries and sectors, including prominent speakers such as Ray Kwon Chung, President of the Ban Ki-moon Foundation, South Korea, Safa Al-Rashed, Board Member of the National Academy of Information Technology, Saudi Arabia, and Seda Kasparova, a social media influencer with over three million followers from Russia, along with representatives of international educational and technology platforms.
The discussions will cover preparing the next generation of professionals, transforming education systems, and strengthening international cooperation to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The summit is an international platform for exchanging best practices and developing solutions in the areas of youth policy, education, culture and media. Its program promotes multidisciplinary dialogue through modern participation formats aimed at developing sustainable and scalable responses to global challenges.
The summit is organized by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, and Kazan Federal University, in partnership with a number of international and regional organizations.
