Niamey (UNA/WAS) – The World Assembly of Muslim Youth, represented by its office in the Republic of Niger, discussed with the Franco-African Council for Scientific Promotions (CAFAG) prospects for joint cooperation in a number of humanitarian, development and educational fields.
This came during a visit by a delegation from the French-Arab African Council for Scientific Promotions, headed by the Council’s President, Mohamed Abdallah Jara, to the World Assembly’s office in Niger, during which the possibility of cooperation in establishing a health center in one of the densely populated residential areas in the capital, Niamey, was discussed, in light of the increasing need for health services to alleviate the burdens on families.
The two sides discussed ways to build an institutional partnership and enhance cooperation between the World Assembly and the African-French-Arab Council for Scientific Advancements (CAFAG), in order to support joint initiatives in the fields of education, training and scientific research, in addition to developing private schools, traditional schools and non-formal education programs in the countries of the region, and enhancing awareness and guidance efforts to serve local communities.
Mohammed Jara commended the humanitarian and development efforts provided by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth in the Republic of Niger, while also appreciating the leading humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the initiatives and programs it provides that contribute to serving the Nigerien community and supporting the most needy groups.
