Cotonou (UNA) – Outgoing President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, won the presidential elections held on Sunday (April 11, 2021), according to provisional results published by the Independent National Electoral Commission. According to the provisional results, the list of the duo Patrice Talon and Mariam Talata obtained 1.984.832 votes, or 86.36% of the total number of votes cast, which amounted to (2.298.401 votes).
