Rabat (UNA) – His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, and General Supervisor of the Museums of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, witnessed the celebration held on the occasion of the number of visitors to the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, in the branch in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, reaching ten million visitors.
The celebration was held at the headquarters of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), which houses the museum, in the presence of a select group of muftis from the Islamic world and minority countries, their scholars, officials, diplomats, and intellectual and cultural figures.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa delivered a speech in which he addressed the museum’s vision and objectives in highlighting the fragrant biography of our master and noble Prophet ﷺ, and embodying the Prophet’s biography in an interactive manner according to the latest modern technology, transforming the events of the biography from texts to be read into scenes to be seen and experienced, in order to address the diversity of visitors, especially since large numbers of non-Muslims have visited it and expressed their admiration for its content.
Following that, His Excellency the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Morocco, Professor Ahmed Toufiq, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Mohammedan League of Scholars, Dr. Ahmed Abadi, and His Excellency the Director-General of ISESCO, Dr. Salem Al-Malik, spoke, followed by interventions from a number of muftis and scholars from within the Islamic world and minority countries.
