Azerbaijan supports the "two-state solution" during the meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah. 

Baku (UNA/AZERTAC) – Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev took part in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held at the headquarters of the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

In his speech, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Rafiyev stressed the importance of declaring an immediate ceasefire and ensuring unhindered access for humanitarian aid to Gaza.

He also stressed that Azerbaijan supports a resolution to the conflict based on the "two-state principle" and in accordance with international law and UN Security Council resolutions.

He also noted that Azerbaijan will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
