Makkah (UNA) - The Muslim World League welcomed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s announcement of the launch of the “International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution,” on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, USA.
In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, its Secretary General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, praised this historic initiative announced by the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on behalf of the Arab and Islamic countries and European partners. His Eminence called on all countries to join this initiative, which will contribute - God willing - to achieving a just and comprehensive peace that the region will enjoy, and its positive impact will be reflected on the world.
He concluded the statement by expressing great appreciation for the exceptional efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the historic progress achieved by its continuous and effective movement around the world in mobilizing international partners to support the Palestinian cause, asking God Almighty to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his loyal Crown Prince, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect them.
