The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League delivers the Friday sermon and leads worshipers at the Grand Mosque in New Delhi

New Delhi (UNA) – The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, was honored to deliver the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque in New Delhi, at the invitation of the mosque’s imam and preacher, and welcomed by all Indian Islamic diversity, thus becoming the first religious figure from outside India to ascend this pulpit in nearly 400 years.

And Al-Issa indicated in the Friday sermon that the book of God is full of urging people to purify souls, and He, Glory be to Him, said: ((He who purifies them has succeeded, and he who has failed them has failed)), and in the purified Sunnah our Prophet and Master, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, says: “The believer realizes with his good character the degree of the fasting person.” Qaim.” And he, peace and blessings be upon him, says: “Nothing is heavier in the scale on the Day of Resurrection than good manners; God hates the obscene and the obscene.” And the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was manifested in his behavior with the greatest morals.

He emphasized that the Islamic civilization is an ethical civilization that provided humanity with wonderful models of human integration with honesty and trustworthiness, fulfillment of covenants and promises, forbearance, forgiveness and grace, people, fluency of face and good speech, and from here the Muslim, with his high morals and his comprehensive, conscious and wise view, is an example of optimal coexistence with everyone.

Dr. Al-Issa stressed that the Islamic awareness is aware that the texts of Islamic law have great purposes that came to achieve the interests of the people in their religion and their world, purposes that look from all angles, not from one limited angle, and from here what is suitable for one country may not be suitable for another, and Islamic jurists have made it clear that Fatwas and legal rulings may differ according to time, place and circumstances. Adding: “Hence also came the Makkah Al-Mukarramah document, which was signed by the muftis and scholars of the Islamic nation and approved by Islamic countries, prohibiting the issuance of fatwas outside their spatial circumstance, conditions and private customs.”

And he warned that “a true Muslim has high morals that walk on earth, testifying to the majesty and beauty of Islam through the values of the people of Islam. Having those values serves the reputation of Islam, in addition to that this is a real behavior for a Muslim that he must adhere to in all circumstances.” As for the opposite of that, it is calculated, with regret, on our religion for those who do not know the truth of Islam, by judging it by the actions of those affiliated with it, and this abusive act is considered to be considered as preventing from the path of God. In the same context, he affirmed that the true believer highlights the truth of his religion through his lofty values and venerable deeds, in terms of the moderation and moderation of Islam, and the rejection of all forms of extremism and violence, whatever their causes and pretexts.

After the end of the sermon, Sheikh Al-Essa led the crowd of worshipers in the presence of senior scholars and sheikhs from India, and behind them were thousands of worshipers who were filled with the outer courtyards of the mosque.
