Istanbul (INA) – The International Sands Festival, in its tenth edition, is being organized under the slogan of the 14 Wonders and Legends of the World in Antalya, southwestern Turkey. The festival will be held on Lara Birlik Beach, with the participation of 26 sculptors from 12 different countries who will implement more than 100 statues using more than 10 thousand tons of sand. Among the wonders sculpted by the participants are the Colosseum in Rome, the Jordanian city of Petra, the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, the Taj Mahal and many more mythical figures. Festival director Jim Karaga stated that they seek to make the festival traditional and that it addresses all ages and tourists of all nationalities. He added that he decided to open the festival all days of the year from 10 am to 11 pm, which gives visitors a greater opportunity to come and enjoy the festival. (End) ct / h p
