
Ramallah (UNA/WAFA) – The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that since yesterday evening until this morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale campaign of arrests and field investigations targeting at least 40 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, including former prisoners.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club explained in a statement issued today, Thursday, that the arrests and field investigations were concentrated in the city of Dura in the Hebron Governorate, most of whom were later released, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, and Tulkarm..
He pointed out that the arrests were accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, attacks against detainees and their families, as well as widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes..
The club pointed out that the occupation has adopted a number of policies in the various areas it raids, most notably the systematic field investigation that has affected dozens of families in all governorates, while the number of arrests in the West Bank after the war of extermination has reached about (20500) arrests.
