Santiago (UNA/WAFA) – Chilean President Gabriel Boric described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “war criminal,” calling for him to be tried internationally on charges of committing genocide and war crimes against the Palestinian people.
"I want to see him stand before the court to face these charges," the Chilean president added in a press statement on Wednesday.
This statement reflects the growing international outrage over the occupation's ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip and violations in the West Bank.
The Chilean president's call coincides with existing proceedings against the occupation leaders in international courts, such as the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice.
