Gaza (UNA/WAFA) – Medical sources announced on Tuesday that the death toll from Israeli occupation forces’ shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip has risen to 326.
Medical sources reported that 326 martyrs, most of them children and women, have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. Meanwhile, 660 civilians have been injured as a result of a series of airstrikes and explosive belts carried out by the occupation forces. A number of victims remain under the rubble.
In an effort to expand the aggression, the occupation army demanded that citizens be forcibly evacuated from areas in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.
The occupation called on citizens in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, and Khirbet Khuza'a, Abasan al-Kabira and al-Jadidah in the south, to evacuate to areas west of Gaza City and to the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.
The occupation forces resumed their aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn, after a hiatus of more than two months, launching a series of intensive airstrikes and firing shells at several areas in the Strip.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the resumption of the war on the Gaza Strip, and that its scope will gradually expand in the coming hours.
The resumption of aggression against the Gaza Strip comes amid fears of a worsening humanitarian situation in the Strip, given the ongoing blockade and the cut-off of medical and humanitarian supplies.
