Jordan condemns Israel's continued systematic targeting of civilians and sheltering displaced persons in Gaza

Amman (UNI/Petra) - The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned in the strongest terms Israel’s continued and systematic targeting of civilians and shelters for displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, most recently the targeting of Al Awda School in the Abasan area in Khan Yunis, which resulted in the death of more than 50 people and the injury of more than XNUMX people. Dozens.

The Ministry’s official spokesman, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom’s condemnation and absolute rejection of Israel’s continued commitment of war crimes and genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and that it is a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and all human and moral values.

Ambassador Al-Qudah renewed his call to the international community, especially the Security Council, to take immediate and decisive steps to stop these crimes and provide protection for Palestinian civilians.

He explained that the absence of any form of accountability and continued impunity encourages Israel to continue its violations and increase the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people, stressing that this systematic policy continues in light of international silence and failure to take decisive measures to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
