Amman (UNA/Petra) - The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs welcomed the unprecedented decision of the International Court of Justice, which demands that Israel immediately stop its military attack on Rafah, and the measures that would cause destruction to the Palestinians.
The Ministry's official spokesman, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, stressed the necessity of implementing this decision, which represents the international will calling for an end to this raging aggressive war, and the unprecedented suffering and humanitarian catastrophe it is producing, which has exceeded all the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and humanitarian and moral values.
Ambassador Al-Qudah stressed the need for Israel to comply with the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, and the international will calling for an end to the war, and the need for the Security Council to assume, without delay, its responsibilities, put an end to the ongoing and ongoing Israeli violations of international law, and impose its application without selectivity or double standards.
The ambassador also warned the judges that Israel would continue to commit crimes against the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza, stressing the necessity of facilitating the entry of adequate and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip, without obstacles or impediments, and ensuring that the Rafah crossing remains open for the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
Ambassador Al-Qudah stressed the need to implement what was stated in the court’s decision regarding taking effective measures to ensure that the investigation and investigation committees delegated by the United Nations agencies carry out their tasks in investigating genocide crimes, without obstacles, in addition to Israel submitting a report to the court on its compliance with the temporary measures.
