
Shusha (AZERTAC) – Azerbaijan’s state news agency AZERTAC and Mozambique’s news agency AIM signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation and news exchange yesterday in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha, on the sidelines of the fourth edition of the Shusha World Media Forum.
The document was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azertag, Vugar Aliyev, and the Director General of AIM, Orlando Gambetta, to establish a framework that allows for the exchange of news and photo materials in English.
The memorandum stipulates the activation of programs for exchanging experiences and training for journalists and technicians, in addition to coordinating joint efforts to combat media misinformation, and exchanging technical solutions in the fields of new media and artificial intelligence.
