Abuja (UNA) – His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, delivered the Friday sermon at the Grand National Mosque in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, and led a large congregation of worshippers, including Nigerian Islamic religious leaders.
The sermon addressed aspects of “the guidance of the Holy Qur’an to that which is most upright,” and a number of important legal issues and commandments for the believer in his religion and his worldly life; including gratitude for God’s blessings, adherence to the etiquette of Islam, which is characterized by steadfastness and the absence of double standards in its application, and that the Muslim should beware of being offensive to himself and his religion through his behavior.
In his sermon, His Eminence praised the distinguished Nigerian model in its religious and national values.
