Riyadh (UNA) - The Omani News Agency chaired the work of the 48th conference of the General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies, which began today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and will continue for two days. During the meeting, the heads of the news agency expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Oman News Agency for presiding over the previous session and its efforts to achieve the goals and objectives aimed at raising the level of cooperation between the member news agencies. During the meeting, the head of the Saudi Press Agency was also elected president of the Federation of Arab News Agencies, Fana for its new session. The conference will discuss ways to develop the media performance of the member agencies and enhance their presence in the international media arena, and review the activities of the federation during the past year, and the work program for 2022.
