
Manama (UNA/BNA) – Dr. Ahmed Al-Nahwi, from the Islamic Cultural Gathering in Tunisia, stressed that the Islamic-Islamic Dialogue Conference represents an important milestone in the path of strengthening Islamic unity, as it brings together prominent religious and intellectual leaders under one umbrella to discuss the fundamental issues facing the Islamic nation.
He pointed out that this conference is an extension of previous efforts and reflects Bahrain's keenness to consolidate the values of dialogue and openness, stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain has become a pioneering model in hosting events that enhance rapprochement between Islamic sects, indicating that Muslims today look forward to the results of these conferences, which contribute to spreading the culture of understanding and rejecting excommunication and misleading among the sons of the nation.
At the end of his statement, he stressed the importance of translating the conference outcomes into practical projects that contribute to strengthening Muslim unity, noting that these initiatives could open new horizons for cooperation and rapprochement between the various Islamic sects and denominations.
