
Doha (UNA/QNA) – Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received today Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, the developments of the military escalation in the region and its serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability were reviewed, as well as ways to resolve all disputes by peaceful means.
During the interview, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s condemnation of the heinous Iranian attacks that targeted vital facilities in the sisterly State of Kuwait, and its full solidarity with and support for all measures taken by Kuwait to preserve its sovereignty and security.
He stressed the need to stop the unjustified Iranian attacks on Qatar and the countries of the region, warning in this context of the consequences of irresponsible targeting of vital infrastructure, especially that related to water, food and energy facilities.
He also stressed the need to strengthen coordination, intensify joint efforts, return to the negotiating table, and prioritize reason and wisdom to contain the crisis, in order to ensure global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental safety, and preserve the stability of the region.
