New York (UNA/QNA) – UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the Israeli attack on Qatar today, stressing that it is a flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In his remarks, Guterres said, "Qatar is playing a very positive role in trying to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and release all hostages held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas." He called on all parties to work to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, not to destroy it.
