Muslim World League (MWL)

The Muslim World League is an independent international organization whose members are from all Islamic countries and sects. Its headquarters are in Mecca. It is concerned with clarifying the truth of Islam and strengthening friendship between peoples. It was established by a resolution issued by the General Islamic Conference held in Mecca on 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1381 AH, corresponding to 18 May 1962 AD.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa has been the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League since 2016. He is known for his pioneering role in promoting the values of moderation and tolerance, and has made prominent contributions to interfaith and intercultural dialogue. He holds a PhD in Islamic Jurisprudence and previously served as Minister of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
