General Director
Andrey Kondrashov
On July 5, 2023, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Andrey Kondrashov as the Director General of the Russian News Agency TASS. Kondrashov was born on June 30, 1973 in Almaty and graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. He began his media career in 1991, working as a special correspondent for the VGT channel, covering the State Duma and being part of the Kremlin’s media team.
