Abu Dhabi (UNA) - Today, Tuesday, the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Russian “TASS” news agency, on the sidelines of the opening of the second edition of the World Media Congress in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the Russian ambassador to the Emirates. The memorandum was signed by the federation’s acting director-general, Mohammed bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami, while it was signed by the agency’s deputy director-general, Michael Gusman, on the part of TASS.
The memorandum aims to establish comprehensive and effective media cooperation between the two sides, provide coverage of their activities, and enhance news exchange between them.

Al-Yami appreciated TASS’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the media institutions affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, thus contributing to confronting common challenges in the media space.
