The Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA) is a media organization founded in 1972 and headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Union aims to enhance cooperation among news agencies in the OIC member states, and develop media content that promotes common Islamic values. It also seeks to support media training and the transmission of news of common interest among member states.

Professor Muhammad bin Abed Rabbo Al-Yami
Mr. Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami has been the Director General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) since November 2024. He has extensive experience in the fields of media, publishing and management, having held several leadership positions, including Acting Director General of UNA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Project Management, and has contributed to developing digital media mechanisms and enhancing cooperation between news agencies.
