The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” was established in April 1972 based on a decision of the Palestinian National Council, and aims to transmit Palestinian news and enhance media mobilization. It operates independently and is linked to the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization. It focuses on covering Palestinian national events and news of the Palestinian diaspora, in addition to confronting propaganda hostile to the Palestinian cause.
