Nouakchott (UNA/WAFA) – The Director General of the Mauritanian News Agency, Mohamed Taghi Allah Al-Adham, congratulated the General Supervisor of Palestinian Official Media, Minister Ahmed Assaf, and the entire Palestinian media family, on the occasion of the Palestinian News and Information Agency “WAFA” receiving the Union of OIC News Agencies “UNA” Award for Media Professionalism.
Al-Adham said: This honor reflects the high status enjoyed by the Palestinian media, and its professional and national role in conveying the truth, defending just causes, and promoting media values based on objectivity and responsibility. It also embodies the sincere efforts you are making in developing the official media system and establishing standards of professionalism and credibility in media work.
He also expressed his pride in the joint media cooperation and his keenness to strengthen professional partnership ties in a way that serves the common media message and enhances the presence of the Palestinian voice in regional and international forums.
