Jeddah (UNA) – The Director General of the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA), Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulrab Al-Yami, received Dr. Amr Al-Laithi, President of the Union of OIC Radio and Television Organizations (USPO), at the Union’s headquarters in Jeddah on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed frameworks for joint media cooperation, in light of the memorandum of understanding signed between them. They also stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between the two unions in the areas of exchanging experiences and information and organizing what contributes to achieving the desired goals and serving the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in light of the rapid technological developments in the media.
