Jeddah (UNA) – The Director General of the Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA), Mr. Mohammed Abdulrab Al-Yami, received today, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Union’s headquarters in Jeddah, the Executive Director of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Hadi bin Ali Al-Yami, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were discussed, as well as ways to enhance institutional cooperation and coordination between the Union and the Authority, particularly in supporting programs that contribute to promoting and protecting human rights and issues in member states.
Dr. Hadi praised the role of the UNA Union and its significant contributions to the implementation and success of the joint programs and objectives of the two bodies in the field of human rights and related issues, in accordance with Islamic concepts.
