In order to activate media cooperation with the Presidency to deliver the moderate message of the Two Holy Mosques, “UNA” has allocated a track to translate the Arafat, Eid al-Adha, and Friday sermons into 51 international languages, targeting more than 80 million beneficiaries and followers worldwide.

Jeddah (UNA) – The Union of Islamic Cooperation Agencies (UNA) has taken the initiative to translate the Arafat, Eid al-Adha and Friday sermons, which come consecutively during this year’s Hajj season 1446 AH, into XNUMX international languages, targeting more than XNUMX million viewers, followers and beneficiaries in the Islamic world.

His Excellency the Director General of UNA, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdrabuh Al-Yami, emphasized that the initiative of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries (UNA) comes within the framework of its keenness to enrich the experience of the Guests of God, enhance media cooperation with the Presidency, and enhance the benefit of Muslims around the world from the outcomes of the three sermons, as they constitute a moderate and civilized religious legacy from the heart of the Two Holy Mosques globally for the benefit of Muslims and humanity, as well as for the visitors of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and to enrich them.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Fahim bin Hamed Al-Hamed, Advisor to His Excellency the President of Religious Affairs and General Supervisor of Media and Communication at the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the “Yona” initiative to translate the Arafat sermon, the Eid sermon, and the subsequent Friday sermons into 51 languages, which will have a significant impact in conveying them to Muslims around the world.

He continued, "The media cooperation agreement recently signed by the Presidency with UNA has had a positive impact in intensifying and increasing the dissemination of the Presidency's stories and reaching Muslims around the world."

The Presidency signed a media cooperation agreement with UNA to deliver the moderate message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world in several languages.

The Presidency of Religious Affairs announced the preparation of an enrichment program to enhance the impact of the three sermons: the Arafat, Eid al-Adha, and Friday sermons. The Presidency has paid special attention to these three sermons, given their important role in conveying the message of true Islam from the heart of the Two Holy Mosques, enriching the religious knowledge of the Guests of God and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, conveying their message globally, and highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
