Jeddah (UNA) – The Director-General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA), Mr. Mohammed Abdrabuh Al-Yami, received today, Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Union’s headquarters in Jeddah, the Executive Director of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Her Excellency Professor Dr. Noura Al-Rashoud, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, topics of mutual interest were discussed, as well as ways to enhance institutional cooperation and coordination between the Union and the Authority, particularly in supporting programs that contribute to promoting and protecting human rights and issues in member states.
For her part, Professor Noura commended the role of the UNA and its contributions to the Commission in implementing and achieving the joint programs and objectives of the two bodies in the field of human rights and related issues, in accordance with Islamic concepts.
